Indigo Connect is a strategic initiative led by Indigo Group to connect college students and young
professionals with local business chambers. Through direct involvement in key community and business events,
participants gain hands-on experience, while chambers benefit from trained, bilingual volunteer support,
expanded visibility, and deeper engagement with youth leadership. The program especially uplifts international
students and first-generation Americans — individuals who often face limited access to professional networks
and early career experiences. Indigo Connect bridges this gap, creating pathways into civic, business, and
leadership environments in California.
Indigo Connect will officially launch its field operations in October 2025, following a detailed preparation and
partnership phase from August through September.
Equip students and early professionals with leadership, communication, and civic engagement skills through real-world experience.
Provide chambers with trained, multilingual volunteers who enhance event operations, visibility, and cultural competency.
Expand Indigo Group’s institutional recognition, partnerships, and donor engagement while reinforcing its mission of youth empowerment.
Foster lasting collaborations between Indigo Group, chambers, and universities to support workforce readiness and community growth.
Uplift international and first-generation students by expanding their access to professional networks and civic opportunities.
